Kentrell Burks is a dynamic STEM educator, tutor, and visionary founder of Café Genius Virtual Tutoring, LLC. With a background in biological sciences, biotechnology, and medical research, Mr. Burks has a passion for making complex topics clear, relatable, and engaging for students of all ages.

He brings years of experience as a math and science teacher, a medical researcher at top institutions like Emory School of Medicine and the CDC, and a mentor to youth in both academic and personal development. Whether it’s Algebra, Chemistry, Chess, or College Prep—Mr. Burks meets each student with patience, high expectations, and an unwavering belief that every child is a genius in the making.

When he’s not teaching or innovating new educational tools, you’ll find him spending time with his wife and four children, building drones with students, or crafting empowering curriculum for neurodivergent learners.chess for 10 years.

Graduated from Morehouse College with a degree in biology/medical sciences. Completing a master's degree in microbiology. Conducted research at the Emory School of Medicine, CHOA, Georgia Aquarium, MDIBL (in Salisbury Cove, Maine), and CDC.
